Rolling-NET Congress
We are happy to announce that the second Rolling-NET is coming! Rolling-NET is an exclusive railway congress for decision makers and suppliers focusing on rolling stock. Many investment will start in the coming years to improve and optimize the traffic and transportation and the event aims to provide a forum for the different players in the industry, such as train builders, operators, system integrators, solution providers, component manufacturers and distributors, education, governmental and nonprofit organizations. Niche event, since within the railway theme, primarily focusing on rolling stock (this is why we call it Rolling-NET) telecommunications, security surveillance, IT/ICT and automation systems and, in particular on the Internet of Things (IoT) penetration of the railway area.
Creation of a safe, modern and integrated railway network that can make rail transport more competitive remains one of the highest priorities of the European Union. There are numerous endeavours and measures focusing on innovation and efficiency. These objectives are also served by the fact that the European funds available for infrastructure investments in the 2014-2020 programming period have been trebled and 80% of these will be spent on railways. Railway-related R&D funds have also been trebled in order to make the European railway network more lucrative to passenger and freight transport providers alike.
The primary objective of the event, the relationship between the various players in the industry to build (which is why we call it Rolling-NET, ie Networking). Among the participants we provide an excellent opportunity for networking, as the exhibitors and visitors of the Rolling-Net Coordinator can help you organize your appointments, meetings. The participants and sponsoring professional presentations take part in both days at the end of the first day provides further opportunities for networking on the 8th floor of the hotel a gala dinner with a buffet reception awaits the participants.
Why is Rolling-NET different?
The rolling stock industry is represented in every major player in the event, so that the rail vehicle manufacturers, operators, prime contractors, systems integrators, consultants, non-profit organizations. You can register by invitation only, is guaranteed only relevant operators are involved.
Participants can not only participate at the presentations about the latest challenges and innovative solutions, but thanks to the Rolling-Net Coordinator they can schedule face-to-face business meetings in advance too.

Going Digital: How the Industrial Internet is driving Digital Transformation
The industrial network of connected machines with data analytics is creating a new frontier of competitiveness for information-centric modern organizations. Advancements in cloud and in-memory computing, distributed databases and data science, along with proliferation of sensing and controls, have given rise to "big data"—fundamentally changing the ways in which individuals, organizations and machines interact with their intelligent environments. Convergence of these physical and digital improvements has paved a way for the Industrial Internet, driving efficiency gains across the production value chain. Standardization, a robust policy framework, and education for skilled workers are also key efforts that need to come together to enable the 4th Industrial Revolution.
